A free photographic and creative showcase of the transformation of plastic waste into captivating works of art, created by local young people from Curzon Crescent Family Wellbeing Centre, Brent Hub Community Centre, and members of the AWRC Asian Women’s Resource Centre.

A celebration of Harlesden through art, film and objects acquired and created through the Harlesden Heritage Action Zone cultural programme.

Brent Libraries, including Brent Museum and the Willesden Gallery will be operating the following hours over the holiday period:
All sites will be closed on Monday 25 December, Tuesday 26 December and Monday 1 January.
Sites will be open with amended hours on the following days:
Sunday 24 and Sunday 31 December: 12 noon to 4pm
Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December: 10.30am to 6pm
Normal opening hours otherwise apply.
Brent Archives searchroom will be closed on the following dates:

Friday 29 December
Sunday 31 December – 1 January
Friday 5 – Sunday 7 January
Normal opening hours apply on all other dates.
Warm Spaces – a warm welcome in Brent Libraries
Brent libraries are places you can come together, stay warm and socialise.
This winter you can drop into our warm spaces for a free hot drink (at limited times, please ask staff for details). Please bring a reusable cup with you, if possible, to prevent waste and reduce recycling.
Donate or collect a coat this winter at Brent Libraries
This winter you can help people struggling with the cost of living. Donate your once-loved adult or children’s coats to Wembley Library or The Library at Willesden Green and help keep someone in need warm.
You can also visit during opening times to pick up donated items.

Listen Local Young Writers
Kiln Theatre is recruiting 10 first-time writers aged 18-30 who live, learn or earn in Brent. Through a series of development writing workshops and supported 1:1 tutorials, these writers will develop their first short plays. |
