A Year in the Life of Gladstone Park, an exhibition of watercolours by Roy Marks
Tuesday 4 – Friday 14 February
| Discover the works of 77 year old Brent artist Roy Marks who has returned to painting after more than 30 years as a professional musician.
Post-Covid, Roy wished to respond to the special connection he’d formed with Gladstone Park after spending so much time during lockdown walking there.
Roy’s paintings seek to draw the viewer into a world which is neither sensational nor immediately apparent. His works are small scale, with a restricted colour palette, qualities he finds at odds with the trends of today. |
